We created a theme based on a timeline. There are a number of themes that kinda do what this does, but we add JS files and responsive layers that makes this an excellent theme choice for journalists, project managers, project portals etc.
Here’s what the timeline theme’s all about.
Responsive
Bits is responsive to fit all viewports. It comes with a boilerplate media query file for further customization.
Retina
Bits theme uses all SVGs as icons. The theme also applies Retina.js to all images. So simply by uploading retina files images are sharper.
Typography
Bits uses a typography framework + forms framework. The theme uses FlowType.js so copy remains legible across all viewports.
