Today Simon WP Framework has reached a milestone albeit a small one. It’s been downloaded 20,000 times.
I originally created Simon WP Framework for myself. The idea was to have a WP Framework that was simple and NOT attached to a membership or theme.
Simple means fast when creating websites. So my WP Framework was created as a base for you to start from. There is no “hocus pocus” or “theme options”. It’s a framework that has helped build hundreds of websites.
This WP Framework is free. I am not just saying that, it is truly free. In other words, others create frameworks that you must either purchase or are very tightly integrated with themes they want you to purchase. I do not believe there is anything wrong with that in terms of making a buck, but this WP Framework is completely free and not part of a strategy to sell themes.
I want this theme to make it easier for web designers to build interesting websites. In future iterations I will be adding different template layouts that can be used for pages. Congrats users!
